The town and beaches you’ll keep coming back to

Chora – Naxos Town

The island’s capital and its beating heart. Chora is a proper Cycladic town — a maze of whitewashed alleys climbing to a Venetian castle, a waterfront that hums from morning coffee to late-night wine, and the Portara, the great marble gate that has framed Naxos sunsets for 2,500 years. Come for the history, stay for the tavernas, boutiques and harbour strolls. About 6 km from the villa — a 10-minute drive.

Agios Prokopios

Regularly named among Greece’s finest beaches, Agios Prokopios is a long sweep of pale golden sand and clear, shallow turquoise water — sheltered from the wind and backed by three shimmering salt pans. The easygoing little resort behind it has tavernas, cafés and beach bars just steps from the sea. 4 km from the villa.

Agia Anna

Just along the coast, Agia Anna is a former fishing harbour that grew into one of Naxos’s most-loved beaches — soft sand, calm water and a row of tavernas where the day’s catch comes straight off the boats. Its shoreline flows seamlessly into Plaka, so you can walk the sand as far as you like. The closest of the big beaches to the villa — just 2 km.
