Payment Policy

1. Initial Payment: When you make your reservation for the villa, you are required to pay 50% of the total price immediately. This initial deposit secures your booking.
2. Final Payment: The remaining 50% of the total cost of your reservation is due 30 days before your scheduled arrival date. We’ll send you a secure payment link to complete this payment.
3. Bookings Made Close to Arrival Date: If you book the villa within 30 days of your intended arrival date, you must pay the full amount of the reservation at the time of booking.
4. Payment Update Reminder: If there’s an issue with processing the second payment due 30 days before your arrival, don’t worry — we’ll reach out to let you know. You’ll have a week to sort things out and finalize the payment. We understand that these things can happen and will hold your reservation during this period. Just make sure to update us within the week so that we can keep your booking secured and your travel plans smooth.

Cancellation Policy

• Initial Deposit: Upon booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total reservation cost is required to secure the villa. This initial deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. (Please read the notes below.)
• Advance Cancellation: To avoid charges for the remaining 50% balance of the reservation, guests must cancel no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
• Late Cancellation or No-Show: If a guest cancels less than 30 days before the arrival date, no refund will be issued for the remaining 50%. In case of a no-show, the guest will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total reservation cost.

Notes

Important note regarding cancellation conditions: Please be aware that Villa Luana is not responsible for cancellations due to external factors that may affect your booking. These include, but are not limited to:

• Travel Disruptions: flight, ferry or other transport disruptions such as cancellations or delays.
• Weather Conditions: severe weather, natural disasters, or any unforeseen climatic conditions.
• Health Issues: medical emergencies or health-related issues that prevent travel.
• Personal Circumstances: changes in personal circumstances, including a change of mind, family emergencies, or work-related issues.
• External Events: local or national strikes, political instability, or significant events that impede travel plans.
• Legal or Regulatory Changes: new travel advisories or restrictions imposed by governments.
• Global Events: events such as pandemics or international conflicts that impact the ability to travel.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations due to these external factors, to protect your investment in your planned stay at Villa Luana. This insurance can provide peace of mind and financial protection in cases where cancellations are unavoidable and beyond our control.
